Business Case Development

Working alongside the client team, we would undertake the role of programme manager and technical author to ensure that the business case meets the latest guidance. As part of this process, we would work with the client to confirm the key investment objectives and benefits criteria, oversee a robust stakeholder engagement process to evaluate the options and to ensure the preferred option meets value for money criteria.

Case studies

Due Diligence Appraisals

Prior to the transfer of service contracts, it is imperative that the new service provider fully understands the obligations and potential risks associated with the estate that will become part of its portfolio as a result of taking on this new contract. Our team will undertake a robust due diligence exercise of the incoming estate, to include detailed analysis of occupancy agreements with associated liabilities, i.e. onerous lease clauses, dilapidations etc. We will also analyse the estate in terms of condition, compliance and utilisation. The resulting risk register will enable the new service provider to make informed strategic decisions for future service delivery.

Estates Review

Strategic analysis of existing estate which can include detailed condition, compliance and utilisation surveys and occupancy costs. This base information can then be used to inform strategic decision making in line with emerging models of care for integrated care delivery. The Estates review is also an essential part of the Estate Strategy process - informing the "Where are we now" section - providing a concise, thorough and robust analysis of the current status.

Project Management

Acting as informed client, our team of skilled Project Managers and Building Surveyors would manage all stages of a client’s project to include appointment of multi-disciplinary design team, oversee client design meetings, consider and confirm most appropriate procurement route depending upon the funding stream and oversee the works on site to ensure they meet the client’s requirements. As part of the commissioning process, we would liaise with the client to ensure a clear commissioning programme is understood and implemented to ensure a smooth transition to the new facility.
